For Victims' Advocates of Corrupt Family Courts

Dear Advocates: 

I am currently doing research for a book about corrupt family court systems and am interested in any suggestion from you on chapter topics. 

I am looking at approximately ten chapters, each on a different topic related to the most pressing issues of protective mothers and family court. I am already researching several topics and hope you might suggest others.

My current book on the family court system, is intended for a much broader audience than my previous books, which were faith-based. I have received communications from two publishers who have expressed interest in my next book. 

I am also looking for personal stories related to family court experience. Identities will be kept confidential where requested, as I understand many are still involved in litigation and involve children who have not yet aged out of the system.

I appreciate your advocacy and any suggestions from you on chapter topics or subtopics will be most welcome. ~~ Jocelyn

Family Courts: Abusers of Mothers and Children

 Our family court system is a gargantuan, abusive, monster. Reforms are urgently needed. 

Over a decade ago, Phyllis Schlafly, wrote the Father's Day article,  "The Awesome Power of Family Courts". She was a powerful evangelical who was an enemy of women's rights. In that she was dead wrong, but she was right about the family court system. If only she had advocated as passionately for "parents" and for "mothers" instead of focusing on "fathers" only.

Mothers and children are the prime targets of abuse in family courts, and Schlafly was firmly in bed with the father supremist camp, run [for the most part] by woman and child abusers.

Schlafly's article was one reason I invited Janice Levinson co-founder with Lundy Bancroft of the Protective Mother's Alliance International to speak at the  Seneca Falls 2 Christian Woman's Rights Conference. 

Little has changed within the family court system since Schlafly wrote that article. It is a shame her voice, still so respected among evangelicals, was not raised in support of  protective mothers and their children abused by a family court system that remains in dire need of reform.

Author and speaker, Jocelyn Andersen, is an eclectic Christian writer. She is a Bible teacher who writes about many subjects including Bible prophecy and equality of the sexes. She is best known for her advocacy in domestic violence awareness. Her book, Woman Submit! Christians & Domestic Violence, has been a staple in the library of resources on that subject.
