Memorial artwork in the Millennial Temple: Ezekiel 41:18-19

Ezekiel 41:18-19
And it was made with cherubim and palm trees so that a palm tree was between each cherub and every cherub had two faces So that the face of a human was toward the palm tree on the one side and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side it was made through all the house round about

My thoughts: Each cherub has the face of 'âdâm (pronounced audawm, which means human). The cherubim each have a human face [humans are created in the image of ELOHIYM, and, among other things, we actually look like our Creator.

The cherubim also each have the face of a young lion. The lion represents Jesus, who came the first time as the Lamb of God and redeemer of humanity. He will come the second time, as and Lion of the Tribe of Judah, bringer of world peace.

So, in the millennial temple, through these amazing engravings that are loaded with meaning and truth, we see God who became human, redeemed humanity, and world peace [ushered in through the future coming of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah]. All of this is portrayed through the palm trees and the two faces of the cherubim, engraved into the walls of the temple.

Redeemed humanity was accomplished through God becoming human and his [the Lamb of God's] death on the cross, his burial, and his resurrection. Whoever calls on the name of the Risen Son of God will be saved.

World peace will be ushered in by the future coming of the Risen Son of God, Jesus, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. "...and of his Kingdom and of his peace, there shall be no end."

During the first 1000 years of Christ's Kingdom, these will all be past events, memorialized and engraved into the walls of the millennial temple. Symbolized by the two faces of the cherubim and by the palm trees redemption and worldwide peace will have been accomplished and established by the Lamb of God, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah...by Jesus, the Prince of PEACE.
